Dr. Leo Twiggs reflects on “A Requiem for Mother Emanuel”

Reknown artist and educator Dr. Leo Twiggs joins us in studio to talk about his nine paintings called “A Requiem for Mother Emanuel,” now on display at Spartanburg’s The Johnson Collection. Twiggs tells us how the horrific story of the shooting at Mother Emanuel church in Charleston inspired the reflective exhibition. There will be a free symposium featuring Dr. Twiggs on Tuesday at 7pm at The Chapman Cultural Center in Spartanburg. www.thejohnsoncollection.org
